About Pembroke, MA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Plymouth County, Pembroke, Massachusetts is a residential community with about 18,000 residents. The town’s geography can be divided in half – streams and rivers dominate the northern half, while Silver Lake and several ponds make up the southern half.  These water resources have historically been very important to Pembroke, as there is a large population of herring that call them home. In fact, the herring are still celebrated today with an annual festival held each May called the Grand Old Fish Fry.

In terms of attractions, there is something for everyone in Pembroke. If you’re interested in horseback riding, River Wind Farm and Hidden Hollow Farm are great destinations. Golf is quite popular in the community, with the Pembroke Country Club, Sandbaggers Range & Golf Shop, and iGolf Pembroke all calling Pembroke home. There are also some great candy shops located in the area that children will especially enjoy, including the Candy Jar and Fedele’s Hand Dipped Chocolates.

Weather conditions in Pembroke vary with the seasons. July is the hottest month of the year, and average daily highs tend to reach the low-80s. However, the community experiences significant humidity, which can make it feel much warmer than the reading on the thermostat. For that reason, many Pembroke residents rely quite heavily on their air conditioning units during the summer. A reliable unit that has been professionally serviced can keep indoor temperatures cool while ensuring that air feels less heavy.

Much like the springtime, autumn weather in Pembroke tends to be mild with considerably less humidity, but it can lead into a potentially dangerous winter. Temperatures will drop dramatically, and precipitation in the form of cold rain and snow will move into the area. With temperatures often at or below freezing, it is easy to see why conditions could quickly become dangerous and Pembroke residents need to have access to a furnace at home.
