About Plympton, MA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, Plympton is a small town with about 2,800 residents. This community is mostly rural, and while much of the land is covered by forest, the northern tip of town is situated in Silver Lake. It is located about 35 miles south of Boston and to the east of Providence, RI. The closest commuter rail station on the Kingston/Plymouth Line is found in Halifax, providing convenient access into Boston. Plympton is part of the Silver Lake Regional School District with Halifax and Kingston, and older students will attend Silver Lake Regional Middle and Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston.

With fewer than 3,000 residents, Plympton isn’t a major tourist hotspot in the area, but there are some notable local businesses here. Visitors who are interested in learning more about cranberries might like to check out Mayflower Cranberries, and families with kids might want to visit Sauchuk Farm and Corn Maze, especially during the autumn months. In terms of shopping, Sunrise Gardens and the Tractor Supply Company are two of the most popular destinations.

Plympton weather conditions will vary by season. July is usually the hottest month of the year, with average highs reaching the low-80s. Humidity levels are high here, which can actually make it feel much warmer than what your thermostat might read, and the season also tends to bring thunderstorms and significant rainfall to the area. For these reasons, most Plympton residents will rely on their central air conditioning units during these months, and reliable systems can make sure that indoor air feels both cooler and lighter.

Much like the springtime weather, autumn conditions in Plympton tend to be less humid and mild, but the future winter season can become dangerous. Temperatures plummet, and precipitation in the form of snow or freezing rain will move into the area. With temperatures that usually fall below freezing, especially overnight, it is clear to see that conditions could become dangerous if Plymptom residents didn’t have access to a furnace system at home.
